Marco Quazzo
Marco is a litigator who represents individuals and companies in a wide variety of business and real estate disputes. Over the past 20 years he has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts, including the reported case SeaRiver Maritime, Inc. v. Industrial Medical Services, Inc., 983 F. Supp. 1287 (N.D. Cal. 1997). Regardless of the nature of the dispute, Marco excels at developing and implementing creative and successful litigation strategies.
Marco teaches trial and deposition-taking skills on behalf of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), and serves on the faculty for the Intensive Advocacy Program at the University of San Francisco Law School. Marco also is a member of the San Francisco Superior Court's private mediation panel. He has settled dozens of lawsuits as a mediator and as a panelist for the Court's Early Settlement Program.
Before joining MBV Marco was a litigator with McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen in San Francisco. He clerked for Judge Lowell Jensen of the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California. Marco received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall), where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served on the California Law Review. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
Marco holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, indicating very high legal ability and very high ethical standards. He has been frequently honored as a "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics Magazine in an annual survey of northern California lawyers. Marco is listed in Who's Who in American Law. He received the Golden Eagle award from The Guardsmen for work on behalf of underprivileged children in the Bay Area, and the Community Service Award from the Jack Berman Advocacy Center for his legal work on behalf of victims of gun violence.
Marco lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children.
