Robert J. Pia
Bob is an employment lawyer who provides full range of legal services on employment matters confronting employers and managers. Since 1984 he has counseled both privately held and publicly traded companies on employment law matters, including reductions in force, wrongful termination, sex and age discrimination, independent contractor, and wage and hour issues. Bob also handles employment litigation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution cases involving personnel and employment matters.
Bob works closely with his employment law colleague at MBV Law, Eli Gould, in managing the employment law problems of MBV clients. Their combined range and depth of experience offers a unique senior team resource in the employment area for all MBV clients.
Before joining MBV Law Bob was a partner in the litigation firm of O'Donnell & Pia. He began his legal career at the San Francisco law firm of Horwich & Warner in 1984 after receiving his J.D. degree (cum laude) from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He received his undergraduate degree with High Honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1981.
Bob lives in Corte Madera, California with his wife and two children. He has served on the Planning Commission for the Town of Corte Madera. Bob is a native of Salinas, California.
