Dwight C. Donovan
Dwight is a litigation attorney with over twenty years of experience practicing in California and federal trial and appellate courts, and appearing before regulatory agencies. His practice focuses on business litigation with an emphasis on real estate, condemnation, construction, partnership dissolution, and commercial disputes. He also engages in administrative litigation before the California Public Utilities Commission.
In addition to his litigation practice, Dwight counsels clients on a variety of issues, including property agreements, entity formation, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance. His litigation experience enables him to bring a valuable perspective to business planning.
Dwight graduated with honors from Stanford University in 1978. He received his law degree from Hastings College of the Law in 1984.
Dwight has been in private practice in San Francisco since 1984. He was a principal in the firm of Anderson, Donovan & Poole from its inception in 1990 until 2000.
Dwight has provided pro bono services for a variety of groups, including the Missionaries of Charity, Inc., and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area.
