Aviva Cuyler
Aviva's practice is primarily in the area of business litigation, including commercial real estate, securities, antitrust, patent, health care, disability, telecommunications, and construction. She has also represented a number of businesses in constitutional challenges to the application of laws.
For the past ten years, Aviva has focused on legal writing. She has worked on large, complex litigation matters in the Second and Ninth Circuits of the federal courts, and also in the California state courts. Aviva has recently begun to use her experience in business litigation to draft and negotiate contracts for clients, particularly in the field of construction.
Aviva received her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law (with honors), where she served as Director of the national Starr Moot Court Insurance Law Competition. She received her undergraduate degree in English (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Connecticut, where she received the State of Connecticut and Sprirer-Dueker awards for outstanding humanitarian service.
Aviva lives in Marshall, California with her husband and two daughters. Her community activities include serving as Counsel for the Tomales Bay East Shore Planning Group and President of the Board of Directors of Papermill Creek Children's Corner.
