Keiretsu Forum North Bay Sponsorship
MBV LAW LLP recently became a Founding Sponsor of the North Bay Keiretsu Forum. The Keiretsu Forum is the largest North American "angel" investment community, with over 500 accredited private equity investors throughout its international network of chapters. Keiretsu Forum membership is comprised of private equity investors, venture capitalists, serial entrepreneurs, and corporate/institutional partners. Forum members invest in early stage, high–quality diverse investment opportunities in technology, real estate, consumer products, medical devices and any other segment with high–growth opportunity. Technology Venture Corporation
MBV Law LLP has become a sponsor of Technology Venture Corporation, a nonprofit located in Livermore, CA, and Albuquerque, NM. TVC is partially funded by the federal government, and helps bring early stage technology not only from the large research labs, but from any technology business, to the marketplace through a free service to entrepreneurs. MBV Partner Greg Beattie serves as a frequent speaker and is on the TVC advisory board.
MBV Attorney Appointed Executive Director of the Berkely Center for Law, Business and the Economy
MBV attorney Ken Taymor was recently appointed Executive Director of the U.C. Berkeley Center for Law, Business and the Economy. Ken will be leaving MBV shortly to assume his new full–time responsibilities on the UC Berkeley campus. We wish Ken well as he embarks on this exciting new career opportunity.
