Bob practices as a contracts lawyer, representing individuals and entities. Having previously practiced in the areas of intellectual property and estate planning, Bob is well qualified to address the needs of owners of tangible or intangible assets who believe it is prudent to plan for their death or disability.
Bob was graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 1972, where he was Chief Articles Editor of the UCLA Law Review. He received his B.A. from Santa Clara University in 1965, and an M.A. from UCLA in 1966, both in Economics. Before law school, Bob served two years as an officer in the Army Corps of Engineers in Germany. Bob practiced with the San Francisco-based national law firm of Pettit & Martin for 23 years before joining MBV Law LLP in 1995. He became a partner at his former firm in 1979, and was appointed head of the business department there in 1992.
Bob believes that if he clarifies the often complex legal issues relevant to decisions that must be made in the event of death, disability or retirement, his clients are better able to express their wishes for implementation by him.
Bob and his wife, Heidi, have been married for more than 40 years and have two putatively adult sons.
